Description

These Graham Cracker S’mores Brownie Bars are a delightful twist on classic s’mores, combining rich chocolate brownie base with melty marshmallows, crunchy graham crackers, and chunks of Hershey’s chocolate for an indulgent treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ Hershey Bars, chopped

Toppings

  • 1 10 oz bag miniature marshmallows
  • 1 ½ Hershey Bars, coarsely chopped
  • 8 graham crackers, broken into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the brownie base.
  2. Melt Butter and Chocolate: In a large bowl, combine the butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Melt them together in the microwave until smooth, stirring as needed to prevent burning.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs into the melted chocolate mixture, mixing thoroughly to combine.
  4. Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Add the granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and ground cinnamon to the wet mixture. Stir until the batter is well combined without overmixing.
  5. Add Chocolate Chunks: Fold in the chopped 1 ½ Hershey Bars into the brownie batter, evenly distributing the pieces.
  6. Prepare Pan and Bake: Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan and smooth the surface. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Add Toppings: Let the baked brownie cool for a few minutes. Then evenly sprinkle the coarsely chopped remaining Hershey Bars, broken graham crackers, and miniature marshmallows over the surface.
  8. Broil Marshmallow Topping: Place the pan under the oven broiler for just a few minutes, watching closely until the marshmallows are toasted and golden brown.
  9. Cool and Serve: Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing and serving to enjoy the perfect gooey s’mores experience.
