- 14 ounces canned artichoke hearts
Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Optional
- 1 tablespoon shredded parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the Artichokes: Drain the canned artichoke hearts thoroughly, then pat them dry with paper towels. Place them on a cutting board and slice each heart in half lengthwise.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and allow it to preheat while you season the artichokes.
- Season the Artichokes: Transfer the halved artichoke hearts into a baking dish or bowl. Drizzle with avocado oil, then sprinkle evenly with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add the shredded parmesan cheese on top if using.
- Arrange for Cooking: Place the artichoke hearts in the air fryer basket or tray cut side facing up. Make sure to leave some space between each piece to ensure even cooking and crisping.
- Air Fry: Cook the artichokes for 7 to 11 minutes, or until the parmesan is crispy and the artichoke edges are lightly browned.
