Description

Ingredients

1 pound Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Frozen Fast Food Fries

Vegetable oil for frying

For the seasoning mixture:

2 teaspoons salt

2 tablespoons paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons chili powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

For the cheese sauce:

16 slices American cheese

1/4 cup milk

1 tablespoon liquid from the jar of jalapeño slices


Instructions

  1. Mix all seasoning ingredients in a small bowl to create the spice blend.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan to 350°F (180°C) with at least 3 inches depth.
  3. Fry frozen fries in hot oil for 6-8 minutes until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  4. Prepare cheese sauce by tearing American cheese into pieces; combine with milk and jalapeño liquid in a microwave-safe bowl.
  5. Microwave cheese mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Toss cooled fries in seasoning mix until evenly coated.
