Description

Strawberry mango popsicles are a refreshing and healthy treat made with real fruit, perfect for cooling off on a warm day. They combine sweet, tangy strawberries and mangoes with lime and orange juice for a naturally delicious dessert that’s simple and satisfying.

Ingredients

3 cups strawberries

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tbsp maple syrup

3 cups cubed mango

1/3 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. Add the strawberries, maple syrup, and lime juice to a small pot over medium heat. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes until strawberries soften (optional).
  2. Transfer the strawberry mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the strawberry puree evenly into popsicle molds.
  4. Clean the blender, add cubed mango and orange juice, then blend until smooth.
  5. Pour mango mixture evenly into molds on top of strawberry layer.
  6. Use a knife or chopstick to gently swirl the two mixtures for a marble effect.
  7. Cover molds, insert sticks, and freeze overnight.
  8. To remove popsicles, run molds under warm water for 30 seconds, then gently pull sticks out.

Notes

Maple syrup can be swapped with honey or agave syrup.

Add fresh mint to strawberry mixture for an herbal twist.

Use coconut water instead of orange juice for a lighter tropical flavor.

Add spinach to mango blend for a green boost without altering taste.

Replace mango with pineapple for a tangier popsicle.

Store in airtight containers or covered molds to prevent freezer burn; lasts up to 2 weeks.

Frozen fruit can be used if fresh is unavailable; thaw slightly before blending.

Cooking strawberries is optional; skipping gives a fresher taste.

Omit or reduce sweetener if fruit is very ripe and sweet.

Alternative molds: small paper cups with wooden sticks or silicone muffin tins.
