- 3 tbsp Japanese Mayo
- 1 tbsp Korean Chili Paste
- 1 tbsp Cream Cheese

Sushi Rice

- 3 tbsp Sushi Seasoning (rice vinegar, sugar, salt mix)
Toppings and Garnishes
- Masago (additional to layer on rice)
- Furikake seasoning (to taste)
- Additional Japanese Mayo (for drizzling)
- Crispy Seaweed (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare Sushi Rice: Mix the cooked Japanese short-grain rice thoroughly with the sushi seasoning until evenly combined and slightly cooled.
- Layer Sushi Rice: Spread the seasoned sushi rice evenly at the bottom of a baking dish to form a solid base layer.
- Add Masago and Furikake Layers: Sprinkle a layer of masago evenly over the sushi rice, then follow with a generous dusting of furikake seasoning for added flavor.
- Prepare Creamy Crab Mix: In a bowl, combine imitation crab, Japanese mayo, ponzu sauce, cream cheese, and masago. Mix well to form the creamy crab mixture.
- Prepare Spicy Tuna Mix: In another bowl, mix the drained canned tuna with Japanese mayo, Korean chili paste, cream cheese, and black pepper until well blended.
- Layer Proteins: On top of the rice and toppings, place half the creamy crab mixture on one side of the dish and half the spicy tuna mixture on the other side, creating two distinct sections.
- Final Toppings: Drizzle additional Japanese mayo over both layers and sprinkle more furikake on top for enhanced flavor and texture.
- Broil: Place the dish under the oven broiler for 3-5 minutes, watching carefully until the top becomes bubbly and slightly crispy.
- Serve: Remove from broiler and serve immediately with crispy seaweed on the side for wrapping or scooping.
Notes
- For best results, use freshly cooked sushi rice and allow it to cool slightly before layering.
- Adjust the amount of Korean chili paste in the spicy tuna to suit your preferred spice level.
- Imitation crab can be substituted with real crab meat for a more authentic flavor.
- Keep a close eye during broiling to avoid burning the top layer.
- Serve the sushi bake warm for optimal texture and flavor.
