Description

This Cheesy Ground Beef Pasta Skillet is a quick and flavorful one-pan meal that combines zesty ground beef, tender pasta, and gooey melted cheese for a satisfying dinner option.


Ingredients

Pasta:

  • 2 cups ziti pasta, cooked (see NOTES)

Beef Mixture:

  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp crushed red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley, plus more for garnish
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Cook pasta until al dente, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Drain pasta without rinsing.
  2. Sear Beef: In a skillet, brown beef in olive oil, breaking it up. Season with salt and pepper. Add garlic, onions, chili flakes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, parsley, and pasta water. Simmer until tender.
  3. Combine: Mix in cooked pasta and 1 cup mozzarella. Top with remaining cheese and cover until melted. Garnish with parsley.

  • I used leftover pasta, but cooking directions are provided in the recipe if needed.
