Description
This homemade Starbucks Caramel Brûlée Latte replicates the smooth espresso flavor combined with rich caramel syrup and a delightful topping of whipped cream and crunchy toffee bits. Perfect for a cozy, indulgent drink at home in just under 10 minutes.
Ingredients
Milk & Syrup
- ½ cup whole milk (or milk of choice)
- 3 tbsp caramel syrup
Coffee
- 2 espresso shots (or 8 oz hot coffee)
Toppings
- Whipped cream
- Toffee bits
Instructions
- Heat Milk and Caramel Syrup: Add the milk and caramel syrup to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until it just begins to foam, taking care not to boil. Remove from heat and whisk vigorously until the milk becomes slightly frothy.
- Brew Coffee: Prepare two shots of espresso or brew 8 ounces of hot coffee and pour it into a large coffee mug.
- Combine and Serve: Pour the caramel-infused frothy milk into the coffee. Top generously with whipped cream and sprinkle toffee bits on top. Serve immediately and enjoy your caramel brûlée latte.
Notes
- You can substitute dairy milk with almond, oat, or soy milk for a vegan or lactose-free option.
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso shots instead of brewed coffee.
- Adjust the caramel syrup amount depending on your sweetness preference.
- If you don’t have toffee bits, crushed caramel candies or caramel sauce drizzle can be a good alternative.
