Ingredients
Carrots:
- 2 lbs Carrots, washed and peeled
Brown Sugar Glaze:
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup Butter
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 ½ cup Water
Instructions
- Slice the carrots: Cut carrots into 1/2″ thick slices and place in a large skillet.
- Cook the carrots: Add water to the skillet, cover, and simmer over medium-high heat until carrots are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Drain excess water: Drain any remaining water from the skillet.
- Make the glaze: Stir in brown sugar, butter, and salt. Coat the carrots in the glaze.
- Finalize the dish: Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the glaze thickens. Serve warm and enjoy!
