Ingredients

Carrots:

  • 2 lbs Carrots, washed and peeled

Brown Sugar Glaze:

  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ cup Water

Instructions

  1. Slice the carrots: Cut carrots into 1/2″ thick slices and place in a large skillet.
  2. Cook the carrots: Add water to the skillet, cover, and simmer over medium-high heat until carrots are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Drain excess water: Drain any remaining water from the skillet.
  4. Make the glaze: Stir in brown sugar, butter, and salt. Coat the carrots in the glaze.
