Air Fryer Egg and Cheese Toast is a quick, easy, and delicious breakfast treat with a perfectly cooked egg nestled right in the middle of a slice of toast, topped with melted cheese.
Ingredients
2 slices of bread
2 eggs
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Use a spoon to press a shallow well into the center of each slice of bread, creating an indentation for the egg.
- Crack an egg into the well of each bread slice.
- Sprinkle the egg with shredded cheddar cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and air fry the bread and eggs for about 7–9 minutes, or until the egg is cooked to your liking.
Notes
For a runny yolk, air fry for about 7 minutes.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes at 375°F.
You can use other types of cheese such as mozzarella, pepper jack, or a cheese blend.
Customize with spices or add vegetables like spinach, tomatoes, or mushrooms.
Can be cooked in a regular oven at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
