Description

Air Fryer Egg and Cheese Toast is a quick, easy, and delicious breakfast treat with a perfectly cooked egg nestled right in the middle of a slice of toast, topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

2 slices of bread

2 eggs

1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Use a spoon to press a shallow well into the center of each slice of bread, creating an indentation for the egg.
  2. Crack an egg into the well of each bread slice.
  3. Sprinkle the egg with shredded cheddar cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and air fry the bread and eggs for about 7–9 minutes, or until the egg is cooked to your liking.

Notes

For a runny yolk, air fry for about 7 minutes.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes at 375°F.

You can use other types of cheese such as mozzarella, pepper jack, or a cheese blend.

Customize with spices or add vegetables like spinach, tomatoes, or mushrooms.

Can be cooked in a regular oven at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
