Description

Golden, seasoned chicken wrapped in crispy flour tortillas with melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese, smothered in creamy garlic sauce for a quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, diced

4 large flour tortillas

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup creamy garlic sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat evenly.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add seasoned chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Lay tortillas flat and spread a layer of creamy garlic sauce over each.
  4. Distribute cooked chicken evenly on tortillas, then sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Fold tortillas over the filling to form wraps.
  6. Using the same pan, grill wraps for 2-3 minutes on each side until cheese melts and tortillas turn golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from pan, cut each wrap in half, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Add red pepper flakes to chicken seasoning for a spicy kick.

Incorporate sautéed bell peppers or onions inside the wrap for extra flavor and crunch.

Use whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas for dietary preferences.

Substitute cheddar and mozzarella with pepper jack or Monterey Jack for a different cheese profile.

Serve with garlic dipping sauce or salsa on the side.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheat in a skillet over medium heat to keep tortillas crispy, or microwave briefly.

Use pre-cooked chicken to save time; warm before assembling.

Vegetarian option: substitute chicken with sautéed mushrooms, tofu, or beans.

Freeze cooked chicken separately; assemble wraps fresh for best texture.
